Interior Architectural Design

role & responsibility

design concept

As a Project Designer at Studio O+A, I played a key role in leading the design of several interior spaces, including the reception area, library, and flexible collaboration room. Collaborating closely with the Design Director and Senior Project Designer, I contributed to visioning and concept development to gain a deeper understanding of the client and users. I was responsible for selecting furniture, finishes, and equipment, as well as creating 3D models and design documentation, including the architectural set and fabrication details for custom pieces. Additionally, worked closely with the Sr. Project Designer to develop lighting and furniture packages and managed the RFI and submittals log, resolving various issues during construction.

Flow Theory

Driven by the clients product and research, just as a motorcycle or airplane cuts through the air and sends it swirling in a unique pattern, so will each user navigating this space. The users themselves become the object of study, their movement through space has an exclusive trajectory, velocity & momentum. Their experience is their own and will have a distinctive outcome. This design incorporates textural applications, Interactive displays and dynamic materials that shift and change as users pass by. It is through these thoughtful applications that the meshes, colorful spectra, and airflow patterns created by their product is reflected in the architecture.
